  2. 1. Snow White because the plot was very interesting and had a happy ending. Also, it was one of my favorite classics.
    2. Yes, because not only is it Disney's first animation movie, but it's also very entertaining to many people, so many still watch it today.
    3. No, because the 3D movies I recently watched involve people wanting to kill others for a reason. Monster in Paris involves people trying to kill something for no reason, even though the thing they're trying to kill is very harmless.

    3. Yes Monster in Paris is like all the other 3D cartoons, it just didn't have enough settings and most of it was taken in place in one area.

    2. I think Snow White still deserves a place in modern times.

    3. Visually it was like a few of the other 3D movies I had seen. However, it had a different story than I was used to with a different setting.

  6. I like the 2nd movie better than Snow White because it was animated much more realistically with a more creative storyline and multiple characters with unique personalities. I think that Snow White still holds up today because it is the first ever animated film that set the standards for future films to come. Monster in Paris was different from other 3D movies because the detail was so very well shown and depicted. For example, all the windows showed the reflections that were there, unlike other films where the windows would not. Also, every single element was taken into consideration such as the number of people in the setting and the way things moved and flowed throughout the movie.

  7. My favorite movie was the monster in paris. I still think that Snow White still holds up but does not get the credit that it deserves. I think that The Monster in Paris was unique in its own way that and did not share a lot with other animated movies.

  9. 1. Both movies are great and Monster is my favorite. Because it has a creative plot that is different than others. And the characters are vivid. Music and techniques are impressive.
    2. Snow White is a classic animation movie. Yes, I think it still holds up today.
    3. I think Monster has a more creative plot than some other 3D movies. All 3D movies I have seen have fabulous visual perspective. 3D is a great way to illustrate those characters.

    2. Yes this movie is well made and is still watched today. The story is from the classic fairy tale so many know the story and can relate.
    3. The story was very new to me and I enjoyed the fresh story. I have seen animation in a similar fashion to the Monster in Paris but not very often or recently.

  13. 1) I was only able to watch Snow White, but I enjoyed the changes of expression that were combined with the changes of posture portrayed the personalities of each character very well.

    2) Snow White, even though the drawing styles are old and not "modernized" 3D, many animated films still use its basic principles of expression to portray its characters, therefore it still has a place in media today.

3)I did not watch Monster in Paris.....................

  15. I liked the Monster in Paris more in term of enjoying the actual movie. Maybe because Snow White was so familiar and I knew what was going to happen. Snow White still does hold up today over the years, I think, because of the beautiful animation and colorful characters, and wondrous backgrounds. Also, I think nostalgia has a factor in this. With Monster in Paris, from a story perspective it seemed really familiar, but it was really enjoyable. The visuals were very good, but with 3D, it seems most of the art style is flattened out.

  17. 1. Of the movies you watched right before the break in class, which was your favorite? Why? I loved both to be honest. Both had great stories, with their own twists. Snow White is considered to be a classic animation full feature film, the first in fact. On the flip side, Monster in Paris was absolutely stunning. All the way from story to character development to even backgrounds. There was a great contrast between the two, but were still both excellent films.

    2. Do you think Snow White still holds up today? Snow white was the very basis of modern full feature animated films. It developed the classic Disney style which we know and love today.

    3. Do you think Monster in Paris seemed like other 3D movies you have seen recently from a story and visual perspective? Explain your yes or no answer. I don't believe the Monster in Paris seemed like the other 3D Films I have seen recently. It was a truly unique film in which it showed France, but in a unique way. It is truly a well developed plot with occasional comedy, which really adds depth to the overall film.

  18. 1) I really enjoyed the Monster in Paris because of of the unique plot line the movie had and the really awesome animating.
    2) Yes I think Snow White still holds up today because it will always remain as a classic being the first color animated movie and the first disney princess movie.
    3) Yes I do think the Monster in Paris does seem like other 3D movies because of the vivd color in the animation. Also the amount of detail the animators put into the movie. It also seems like all animations nowadays have modern humor which makes the movie more fun to watch.

  19. 1. Monster in Paris because it was nice to be different from Disney.
    2. No
    3. Visually it is similar to some movies I have seen, the character style and the style of the setting. The story was sort of similar to Frozen in which one character is different from others and tries to fit in but ends up being outcast for a time.

  20. 1. My favorite movie out of the two that we watched is Monster in Paris because it is more modern than Snow White. I thought that the animations looked more realistic and I liked the plot.

    2. Yes, I think Snow White still holds up today because it is an excellently animated movie and is still watched by many people today. For example, I thought the 7 dwarves's personalities were portrayed very well with the use of animation techniques that we still use today.

    3. Yes, Monster in Paris is very much like other 3D movies I have watched recently in that it had a plot twist and action in the movie. One 3D movie I have seen recently is Frozen and one of the main characters in the movie "died" but eventually came back. Similarly, in Monster in Paris, the monster also "died" but turns out he was still alive, so in my opinion, I think Monster in Paris is like many of the 3D movies I have watched recently.

  21. 1. My favorite was Monster in Paris because I liked the interaction between the characters and music even though it was repetitive sometimes
    2. Yes.
    3. Yes. The visual perspective is similar to other 3D movies, and the story was kind of predictable to me, much like many others besides Frozen.

  22. 1. It's a difficult call; both were great and both were flawed. Both looked great, for example, but the voice acting in Snow White was distracting, and the story of Monster in Paris was lacking. I think in the end my favorite might be Monster in Paris for a less distracting voice.
    2. I think that Snow White would have a lot of trouble competing with many other animated movies. The animation quality is fairly high even in modern times but not amazing. The voice acting is distracting, with Snow White sounding like the voice actor is constantly in falsetto. I believe that Snow White was very important as a pioneer to animation techniques but is difficult to compare to modern movies.
    3. Monster in Paris seemed very similar to many other 3D movies, especially Dreamworks in terms of storytelling and humor. The appearances of the models also have many similarities to other characters' visual appearances in other movies.

  23. I liked the Monster in Paris more than Snow White because it had fewer songs and more interesting plot. I think Snow White still holds up today because new animators still use the principles of animation used by Snow White. I think the Monster in Paris is similar to the movie the Beauty and the Beast because in both, a character accepts an outcast from society even though everyone despises the outcast. I therefore think the plot isn't unique entirely, however, the auditory and visual effects are unique.
